Matrimony

The Sacrament of Marriage is a lifelong commitment of a man and woman to each other. Since this is a sacred vocation, it is of utmost importance that couples be properly prepared for this sacrament.

One of the couple must be registered in the parish for at least six (6) months before arrangements can be made. The couple should make arrangements one year in advance, at the Parish office, in accordance with Diocesan policy.

Engaged couples must complete a FOCCUS Survey before they scheduled for Pre-Cana.

During this year they are expected to take part in a Pre-Cana preparation process at the latest 6 months prior to the wedding date. This includes several meetings with the priest/deacon and also work with the Wedding Coordination Team to plan the celebration.

The Marriage coordination team helps engaged couples to prepare their wedding liturgy and assists in many details to help make the celebration a prayerful and beautiful event for the couple, their families and friends.

Weddings are usually celebrated on Friday at 4PM, Saturday at 12 or 2PM or Sunday at 3PM by the priest on one of our deacons.
